What are metallic capsules?

Metallic capsules are hard gelatin capsules produced with a pearlescent or metallic pigment blended into the shell.Unlike a surface coating, the effect runs through the capsule wall, so it will not scratch off during handling or encapsulation. They are widely used for premium nutraceuticals, sports nutrition and gift-pack products where the capsule itself is part of the packaging.

Colour range

Our standard metallic range covers gold, silver, bronze, copper and pearl white, with pearlescent variants available in most colours. Cap and body can be specified independently, so a gold cap can be paired with a pearl white body. Custom shades can be matched against a reference sample.
