Universe Capsules manufactures custom empty gelatin capsules in a wide range of colours, sizes and finishes to match your product. Choose any combination of cap and body colour, select a gloss, matte, metallic or transparent finish, and add axial or radial printing with your brand name or dosage marking. Available in sizes 000 to 5, our custom hard gelatin capsules help your product stand out on the shelf while meeting the quality standards your formulation requires.
How colour matching works
Send us a physical sample, a Pantone reference or a filled capsule from an existing supplier. We produce a matched lab sample for your approval before anything goes into production. Once you approve a shade it becomes your reference standard, and every repeat order is checked against it, so batches stay consistent over time. On-screen colour is a guide only and cannot be used to approve a shade.

Colour matching
Choose from our standard colour range or send us a reference and we will match it. Cap and body can be specified separately, giving you two-tone capsules that carry your brand identity onto the shelf. Every batch is colour-checked against an approved master sample, so the shade you sign off is the shade you receive on repeat orders.
Printing and branding
We print capsules axially along the length of the shell or radially around it, in a single colour or two. Printing is commonly used for brand names, product codes and dosage markings, and helps prevent mix-ups during dispensing. Share your artwork and we will produce a printed sample for approval before the production run begins.
